I decided to feature this lovely product Bundle that is an early release from our January to June Catalogue. There is an extra stamp set and paper stack that is a limited time Christmas version that coordinates with this Bundle and these all work together so well. This is not in any of our current publications, but you can find it HERE at my online SU Platform.
I used both the stamp sets on my recent Monday Facebook Live to create a very similar layout but with 2 very different colour pallettes. I wanted to show how, by using elements from a stamp set to create backgrouind images you can create the look of tone on tone patterned paper.
The colours in the Patterned Paper that coordinate with the Curvy Christmas are Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce. The designs are not just for Christmas, but I think they will make beautiful seasonal cards.
I love these subtle colours, I’ve used Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand and Pool Party. I’ve added subtle accents using our Vellum Cardstock and the leaf die from the Bundle. I’ve also punched some Small Bloom Flowers and added these after the Live as I felt it needed that little something more. I’ve made the centres using the Elegeant Faceted Gems (my new favourites)
This lovely bright version uses Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape with the coordinating inks using the fantastic starry curvy stamp from the Curvy Christmas stamp set. I added in the little birds after the Live as again I felt it needed a little something. They were sat on my desk un-coloured from this last project that I created recently after I first received the bundle.
Lots of green here which is unusual for me maybe it’s my recent name change that has rubbed off on me!
I used a technique called partial die cutting to cut the detail on the lower part of the leaves but to leave them attached on the upper portion of white cardstock. These Leaves are so easy to add colour to in so many ways. here I’ve used the watercolour pencils in a subtle look. These birds are the cutest and could be coloured in so many ways. I’m seeing fabulous Robins with these! They each have their own little die. During the Facebook Live I show you how the cutting plates can be used to create a partial diecut.

This Bundle is so very useable and I’m looking forward to creating so much more over the next few weeks.
Thanks for dropping by. Bel x
