It’s no secret that since getting our first dog 3 1/2 years ago we have definitely become a dog family. Molly is mostly a Lab/Collie cross but there are some other breeds in genes too we think!!

This is our girl and she has changed our lives for the better

She is unique looks-wise and this made me think that I would like to be able to make cards that matched her and my friends and family’s dogs with the Hot Dog set. I thought that it was the ear of the dogs in the set that made them distinctively like Dachshunds. The bodies are fairly long, but puppies are often a bit long for their bodies until they fully grow, so I’m using artistic licence here.

Here are a few prototypes – A Cocker Spaniel, Doberman, Basset Hound, Labrador and the original Dachshund.

So today on my regular Monday 4pm Facebook Live I showed how to use a Stampin Write Marker to ink up the stamps minus the ear so that you could make some artistic changes easily to create alternate breeds of puppy.
