Getting In The Flow
Getting creative is such a vital part of my happiness, I try to carve out a little bit of time regularly to work on my Stampin’ Up! in some small way. Sometimes It might be just taking a quick photo of some fabric, wrapping paper or a colour scheme of an arty shop front when I’m out and about.
Inspiration can be everywhere, one of my biggest challenges is to narrow down and filter all the ideas that I collect. Being creative and using these ideas for my Weekly FaceBook Live encourages me to craft at least weekly. Our creativity is like a muscle that needs exercising.
It’s always exciting when a pre-order box arrives in my Stamping Spot, time to implement some of those ideas. Now some might say August is too early to be looking at ‘Holiday Products’, but I’m always chasing my tail in November so the sooner I start the better. The focus of this weeks ‘Live’ stamping session wasn’t really holiday crafting, but the Stamp Set I chose does have the option of Christmas stamping thanks to cute Poinsettia in two sizes. They have seen some action but that’s for a future post.
A solid image stamp set in photo polymer with some lovely sentiments including a Birthday, always a winner for me.
I’m seeing this stamp set used with some really fabulous colour palettes, oh and I forgot to mention matching Designer Paper. Stay tuned and see it’s beauty very soon……….
These fabulous stamps and many more will launch in this new beaut of a publication on September 6th. If you would like a Catalogue sent out in the post then please request one through my Stampin’ Up! Shop: bel green.stampinup.net
