Well it’s certainly been a little while since I last posted here, but time stands still for no-one and so I will be doing a little recap of the recent adventures, as well as updates on the here and now.
A couple of weeks ago I attended a local Crop with a lovely group of ladies and we put together the fabulous Scenic Route Travel Album Kit. This is part of our fantastic Kits Collection and is a great way to get into Memory Keeping, there is so much in this kit including double sided tape. All you need is some scissors and your photos.
The colour ways for this album couldn’t be lovelier – with Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, Wild Wheat and Early Espresso. A fabulous selection of stickers, journalling cards and two coordinating alphabet sticker sheets included.
I used my kit to create an album celebrating my lovely step-daughter Sophie’s journey into being a Mum to our little Grandbaby Finley. The colours were perfect as she loves earthy colours and lots of Fin’s little outfits had these colours in them. I started the album by creating the cover and the first few pages and then added some of the photos that we had taken into one of the pockets so that she could put the rest of the album together herself.
The other ladies did a variety of travel and Birthday themes and they all commented on how easy it was to put the albums together and get great results.
These albums are available on the Stampin’ Up! website under the Kits Collection and make amazing gifts too for anyone into crafting/memory keeping or even those that have never tried crafting before.
Is memory keeping something that you have ever dabbled in?
It’s feeling very good to be back here again, and I intend to show up more often now that the site is all sparkly!
