Reading training was all I had expected and more, Stampin’ Up! sure know how to put on an event. I got some very lovely swaps from some very talented ladies, received a lovely stamp set and there were some brilliant presentations. My fabulous up-line Kerry did quite a few of the presentations, very informative and helpful they were too!
I made two swaps 1 was a 6×6 Scrapbook page and the other was a little 4×4 square card front, mostly created using products from the beautiful new Summer Mini Catalogue. I have fallen in love with all of the new designer paper packs and the stamp sets too. And the new Blossom Punch is so lovely I just can’t stop using it………..! I used it here to make the butterfly! The new Framelits and edge dies, well lets face it life will never be the same again now that these have appeared and co-ordinating stamps and embossing edgelits – genius!! Those clever people that work in product development in Utah must have such fun coming up with these amazing products! I do have to calm myself a little when I show customers these products as I do get a little over-excited at the sheer magic of it all………………..! I can safely say that I love this job almost as much as chocolate! And I really, really LOVE chocolate. One is a little bad on the bank balance the other very bad on the hips!! I think I’m in trouble!
I also took along a little 3D project I had put together again using Summer Mini Products it ended up on one of the stands at the back of the room with the SU Designer samples – insert a little rosy cheeked blush!!!
