New Baby and Christenings are such fun to create for……………
Yesterday evening was spent in the company of some lovely ladies making some very pretty items for some very lucky little people and their parents. The idea came from my memory keeping roots and I wanted to design a class that had this element. The ladies made a long keepsake box with a lid and a pretty belly band , containing 3 small matchbox style mini boxes that had a selection of small labels that could be added by the parents. The labels were Hospital Bracelet, First Curl, Birth Announcement, First Booties etc. The Signing Book was for guests at the Christening to write a small message – ‘words of wisdom’ to the child. Another lovely keepsake for Parents and Children to look back on in years to come. And the pretty dressing table card was cased and I will link back here when I remember where I saw this. All in all, very cute. The Ladies used Nursery Nest Designer Paper and Nursery Nest Quick Accents. (this only arrived during the day of my class!! Phew!!) My samples were made with other papers but you can get the gist!!
