With a new Spring and Summer Occasions launched this week there are many new reasons to get crafting, but what better reason do you need than FREE stuff – Yes I did say FREE! It’s SALE-A-BRATION time again and this years offering does not disappoint!
There is something for everyone in the new SAB brochure. I’m very lucky in that us Demonstrators get to receive SAB items from December 1st with our minimum £45 spend so that we can play and make samples and I have to say although I did have a couple of ‘must-haves’ I still found it difficult to decide. Having seen lots of other demonstrators ideas on Pinterest and Blogs however I now have a list of what I want to earn for free over the next couple of months while SAB is available!
There are a few new Spring/Summer items that stood out for me and were on my list to go for and enable me to get my SAB freebies, I was so glad to see the welcome return of Watercolour Pencils. I was lucky enough to buy Stampin Up’s watercolour pencils that were available way back when. They were generic colours then, but now they have returned in our Stampin Up colours so again the coordination is perfect. 13 colours including Whisper White! It’s one of the best things about Stampin Up so many amazing products in colour families and it makes them a market leader. Anyone can be artistic and match colour effortlessly, I love that.
I am also a sucker for pretty paper and had to purchase the beautiful ‘Falling in Love ‘ DSP it’s so pretty in real life and has some ‘photo real’ type prints in there that are lace and soft bokeh stylised effects. Subtle, soft pastel palette and perfect for Weddings, Anniversaries, New Babies, Birthdays the possibilities are endless. In the same section of the catalogue are the new doilies one side Whisper White the other side Very Vanilla -Genius, so pretty and delicate I can see me using these a lot as they can be inked or sponged in any of our colours to match any product and with 24 in a pack for £4 they are a top tip from me.
So onto my Stamp set choices I spotted the ‘Everyday Hero’ set on my first browse through and thought it was such a versatile set, great for adults, teenagers, younger kids and brilliant for those tricky men’s cards that we all tend to struggle with. OMG it is fabulous I have used it today to make Neil this Anniversary Card.
At a training night before Christmas I played with the Lift me up Stamp set and matching Thinlit dies and created these lovely cards designed by my talented Up-line Kerry Timms. The bundle price for these purchased together is almost the threshold for the SAB free product and within the SAB brochure there is a gorgeous DSP paper pack that matches the Balloon theme perfectly it’s called Carried Away and creates a product suite. How clever is that!
I joined Stampin Up during SAB and am about to celebrated 5years as a Demonstrator, there is always an incredible joining offer for this time of year and this year is no exception – it was the bargain hunter in me that saw me become a Stampin Up Demo in 2012 and I got so much product for my money I was well chuffed. This year’s offer is helped even more by the fact that if you host a party then you can use your commission towards your starter kit, so you could pay even less than I did in 2012!! Purchase the starter kit during SAB and you may choose an extra 2 FREE stamp sets from any current Catalogues – my top tips would be Touches off Texture on page 141 of the Annual Catalogue in Wood mount at £40.50 and Letters for You on Page 137 of the A/C in Photopolymer perfect for the Scrapbookers and priced at £44 that would mean with my picks you could get an additional £84.50 in products for FREE. Add this to the extra £31 of product you get in your fully customisable starter kit already – you pay £99 and choose £130 of product. In addition you receive all the business materials to get you started with a pack of all the current catalogues as well. AWESOME!! Oh and did I mention if you host you can deduct your commission from your starter kit. SAB has a hostess boost so if you hold a party for your friends and you have sales of £200 or more you get a £20 additional commission boost so 10% of your sales plus £20. That could give you £40 off your kit costs. So for £59 you can have over £200 worth of Stampin Up products! If you are new to crafting and want to invest in a new hobby then what an opportunity! If you are a seasoned crafter then I’m sure you will appreciate the quality of our products and find some great products in our catalogues. Joining puts you under no obligation to run a business at all, but if you should choose to buy products regularly for yourself you will receive 20% discount on what you buy and if you do have crafty friends that might want to buy then you can be what is called a Hobby Demonstrator. As a Demonstrator signing under me you can choose to be a member of my team then you will be able to attend training events have access to the Stampin Up Demo website and community that SU Demo’s share and you can be involved with Stampin Up as much or as little as you wish.
If all you want are the products and only the products , then that is absolutely fine too.
Ok so now I’m wanting to sign myself up -oops I can’t 🙁
