When you’re having fun!!
When I think about the difference that Stampin’ Up! has made to my life it is quite amazing! The funny way of looking at this is poorer in my bank balance, but so much richer in my heart.
I have great stamping friends that I probably would have never met without Stampin’ Up! and I have seen so many people light up when they found that actually, they were creative though they never thought they were. I have loved watching people come out of their shells and talk to others around a table where just minutes before they were strangers, they leave as crafting friends. I don’t know many pursuits where anyone and I mean anyone regardless of physical or mental ability can ink up a stamp put it to paper and feel such a sense of achievement, feel like an artist and then give that piece of art to another and spread that happiness onwards.
I will finish with a card we made at my last Monthly WADCA class
A male card that lets the stamping steal the show, it could be prettied up for a lady by adding some pretty stamped/punched flowers to go with the leaves I used from Botanical Blooms that will be retiring end of May. I also used Stylised Birthday that is being carried over to the new Catalogue and the Hardwood Background stamp. Crumb Cake card base, Mint Macaron ink and Night of Navy for the sentiment. A large selection of greens from all the colour families made up my leaves. My little addition made after this photograph was taken was to add some cute little mini circle accents from the lovely green glimmer paper the SAB 6×6 freebie that I cut using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. These are great thinlits as they not only contain the main pieces to make a gorgeous bag in two sizes but 10 additional pieces including word dies and 3 long strips to cut hearts, dots, or stars as a peekaboo to your bag. The genius is that those waste pieces the dots, stars and hearts make beautiful accents on other projects. Stampin’ Up! think of everything!!
