Watercolour Pencils – My Fave Colouring Tool.

I have some events I’ve organised to look forward to over the next few weeks and sharing Stampin’ Up!’s amazing products is my mission. With retiring products and a wonderful new Catalogue ready to launch, there are so many great products to show off.  What I really need to  sing about is the thing that Stampin’ Up! do so very well, better than all the rest is the co-ordination!

To help show this unique selling point, I have created this board  which showcases some of the products from the 2016-18 In-Colours.  It looks very pretty and these products make creating a breeze……….

I’m hoping to get another one or two of these frames (bought at ‘The Range’ UK store) they were really inexpensive and can be changed up with the library clips!

Colouring opportunities with our products are plentiful and one of the newer additions to the Spring/Summer Catalogue were a re-vamp of an old favourite of mine  -The Watercolour Pencils.  These were a product available 10 years ago when SU launched in the UK at the time the colours were not specified as matching SU Ink colours .  They disappeared for a few years, but now I’m pleased to say they have come back and they are labelled to match our Ink Colours! YAY!!

Here the little Frog from ‘You’re Sublime’ retiring stamp set was shaded close to the Archival Basic Black stamped image on watercolour paper.  Then I used the Stampin Up Blender Pens to blend towards the centre with circling motions leaving a little bit white on his tummy.  Simple yet it creates a more shaded image.  He looks less flat than if totally coloured  in. He is a cute character!

See how to use these brilliant new colouring  tools from Stampin Up.  You will be taken to the Stampin Up educational video for this product by clicking on this link Watercolour Pencils it’s well worth a watch as these pencils are such a brilliant way to get so many cool shading effects your projects.

Can you tell I love them?!
