Focus on the Stamparatus

I have and always will be a tools girl.  After all they make our lives easier, speed things up and I’m all for that, I cannot pretend to be a patient crafter!

I have encouraged my Mum for many years to persevere with Stamping even though she sometimes struggles as she has quite severe arthritis and her hands are badly affected.  I do appreciate that it can be frustrating when you have spent time putting a card together and then you go to stamp the sentiment and the impression is not crisp and even or worse still only part of the sentiment appears when the font is ornate and can’t be filled in easily.  For this very reason she often uses ‘Peeloffs’ to add a sentiment to her cards and I have desperately wanted a tool to help her and all of us with this tricky scenario. This week hers arrived and I was thrilled to deliver it to her last night, she tends to be nervous regarding new things, so I’m going to give her a quick lesson to get her going, but it is really easy to get the hang of and comes with full instructions.

Enter the Stamparatus! Now I will confess that this isn’t the first tool of this type I’ve owned, however hand on heart it is the best.  The base is sturdy the magnetic aspect works well, the fact there are two plates that can be removed and flipped and moved up and down the hinges is genius and it can takes paper and card stock of all sizes even 12 x 12 scrapbook pages, which again makes this tool an absolute essential.  For mass production for invites or your Christmas cards it’s worth it’s weight in gold.

I will be filming a FBLive showcasing the Stamparatus this week, there are so many great features with this tool and it will enhance the stamping experience for the new stamper, but equally help the more experienced stamper to get some amazing results with some great techniques!

Some new accessories have just launched including some perfectly sized grid paper to fit inside, again genius on behalf of Stampin’ Up!

As you can probably tell, I love it……….
