It’s the very best time of the Stampin’ Up! year again, the Spring/Summer Catalogue has launched and SAB (Sale-a-Bration) has arrived. This means that for every £45 spent in any of the current catalogues there is a free product available from the SAB Catalogue, YAY!!!
I have never met any crafter that didn’t like FREE product, so it’s the time of year to take full advantage of getting some freebies and the offering this year is varied and wonderful. There is also the chance to double your purchase to £90 or more to receive a larger stamp set called Lasting Lily or a set of dies called Tea Time Framelits that match a stamp set in the new seasonal Spring/Summer Catalogue, these are both stunners.
Whatever your style then there is something that is bound to speak to you in the new Spring/Summer, it has all your needs covered from Valentines to Mother’s and Father’s Day, Easter and New Babies.
I have a tonne of favourites, however my product of the Month for January is the ‘Piece of Cake’ Bundle, this is a Photopolymer Stamp set with a coordinating punch. The images cover so many occasions, Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary, Retirement, Baby Shower
Here I have created a New Year card using this super set and I’ve coloured my icing using the Stampin Blends in Ivory and Light Calypso Coral. The pretty spotty paper is from the Twinkle, Twinkle Designer Series Paper. I created the 2019 from the super versatile Make a Difference stamp set which in my opinion is a must have, for cards, scrapbook pages and everything else you might like to personalise.
Here’s an image from the catalogue using this stamp set, super cute!
For a new crafter this is such a great Stamp set and Punch, the Bundle is at an amazing price saving 10% when bought together the Bundle costs just £29.50.
I’ve been asked many times by newbies what they need to get going as the catalogue although gorgeous to peruse, can become overwhelming and I’m happy to have put together some items in the form of “A Kit In The Mail” aimed at the beginner. If you had no other stamping kit and wanted to start a new hobby making your loved ones unique handmade items, then this is for you!

CHOOSE YOU FREE SAB PRODUCT – my advice would be the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. This would give you loads of options – 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ paper one side Black and white the other side vibrant colours, featuring stunning Butterflies that you can cut out to create a different range of cards easily.

All you will need in addition to complete your projects is some form of adhesive you like to use if however you don’t have anything suitable, I can include a tomboy adhesive (my go to adhesive) for an additional £3.75.
