New Stampin’ Up Online Store Navigation Tips

The new and improved Stampin’ Up! website has brought some really good improvements for navigation and I just wanted to share a few tips here that might improve your user experience searching for the retiring product offering on my online shop that is part of this newer platform. And I also wanted to hi-light a few products that will sell fast but are greatly reduced and would be worth considering to add to your craft stash.

When you arrive at my store the new interface is bright and has a scrolling section with offers and news My name should appear on the green bar at the top of the website ‘You Are Shopping With BEL GREEN’ If you decide to buy products then you will be required to create an account and this can then be used any time you shop. I do have a Hostcode each month that appears to the right of this post and you can earn yourself a little sampler pack of new product directly from me at the end of the month each time you shop (minimum order for hostcode freebies £25 before shipping) by adding the code in the Hostcode box when you see it during the ordering process.

There are 3 clickable tabs below the green bar and for now we will look at the one that says Sales and Specials. This is where you will see the product that is retiring and some of these products will have discounts and all products are available while supplies last.

There will be a number of products that are currently available as Bundles and although both elements of the Bundle might carry forward to the new catalogue then they may not be offered in the new Catalogue as a Bundle (10% off) so this is why they appear in the retiring list as the catalogue number associated with the joint purchase will be retiring. if there’s something Bundled that you would like while you can get the 10% discount off then I would go for it as these tend to sell out early. Some products appear on the list if they will be offered under a new catalogue number or perhaps in a different format eg the Blends were available individually or in duo packs they will only be available in duo packs in the new book so these appear in the retiring list though they will be going forward as duos.

As I mentioned in my previous post the 2018 – 2020 in-colours will be the first to go and I noticed that the In-colours Stampin’ Write Markers are down from £13.75 to £5.50 product code 147159 these are an absolute steal and are great for using to ink up your sentiments for multi colour looks, scribble on a clear block spritz and use on white card stock for watercolour backgrounds, colouring in or general watercolouring. they contain the same ink as our stamp pads, water based and rich alowing the colour to be strong and bright or soft and diluted.

Ok my main tip is in the Sales and Specials section choose Last Chance Specials and use those filters to the left if you are looking at stamp sets in English filter for EN you can filter by Catalogue and note if there’s a pink (melon mambo) SALE button under the picture that item has a discount.

I wouldn’t filter by price as it may filter by original price and not discounted price so you may miss out, at least that’s what I have experienced as I have been roadtesting the system.

My top bargain has to be the Kits, the stunning ‘Notes of Kindness’ down from £33 to £13.20 and the equally beautiful ‘Lots of Happy’ down from £33 to £19.80. These kits contain all you need to produce 20 hand stamped cards from beginners to avid crafters would love these, there’s ink, an acrylic block all the stamps and paper craft supplies including super fancy beautiful envelopes. The ‘Lots of Happy’ kit also contains 4 of our water colouring pencils in vibrant Stampin’ Up! colours. Just click on the above links to go to my shop for these bargain kits.

I do hope that you take advantage of some of the great offers that are available as we make way for new items from Stampin’ Up! coming in the new Annual Catalogue, the quality of these products will never disappoint you and some crafting therapy with all that’s happening in the world right now would be just the tonic.

Please let me know if I can help you in any way or if you need some clarification on how to shop on line with me?
