A Little Tidying

13 May

When the retiring list is released by Stampin’ Up!, it’s time to reorganise my stamp sets on my shelves into what is leaving and what is staying. The process is hard, I can’t lie sometimes there are tears! It’s at this point that I make a mad woman stamping dash to my desk to ink up that stamp set that I just had to have, that hasn’t seen nearly enough ink………

I also grab that designer series paper that will soon retire in the attempt to use it all up on projects before it’s too late! Having received my new catalogue and consumed it’s awesomeness (is that actually a word?) for a week or so now, then I have made peace with the departures of some old favourites. I know that for every old friend that I will lose there are many new and exciting products arriving to move into my crafty space to be loved and used. For this is the CYCLE OF CREATIVITY, at this point the music needs to begin, but alas Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber hasn’t woken up to paper crafting yet!

I digress………

Here’s a few sad farewells

Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper

These designs were inspired by the lovely Mikaela Titheridge with lots of ‘fussy’ cutting. It used to be a bit of a turn off for me, but I’m now finding the cutting quite therapeutic. Maybe it’s these crazy times?

The gorgeous Label Me Bold stamp set
The Forever Lovely stamp set
Notes Of Kindness Card Kit

Don’t forget that the retiring items are while stocks last and some of them have great savings if you are after a crafty bargain, check it out asap and there’s also the clearance rack too. You can find it all in my online SHOP

Before I head off I just wanted to share a few things that I am a bit proud of, the first is my Bunting that hung proudly in our cul de sac last Friday 8th May for the VE celebrations in the UK thanks Stampin’ Up! Then secondly the cake I baked for our lovely afternoon tea that actually looked like a cake and not a biscuit for once! Whoop, Whoop!
