It makes me feel very old, my youngest turning 14 last week! It’s been a funny old year (isn’t that an understatement!!)
Having great Demo friends is one of the perks of having Stampin’ Up! in my life and my lovely friend Lynne had an extended holiday recently and let me borrow a Bundle that she recently got from the Annual Catalogue.
This Bundle is called The Right Triangle and it’s really clever. There is also another stamp set available in the August – December that co-ordinates with the dies called the Tree Angle stamp set. As the name suggests there are Patterned Christmas Tree images to be cut out with the dies.
Here’s the card I made for Liv using just the dies from the Bundle, and her favourite pastel colours, with Butterfly Gala stamp set.
Facebook Live’s have continued on my Business Page on Monday’s at 4pm and it’s really enjoyable exploring some basic techniques and making some simple projects, that hopefully others can easily succeed with.
This week I hi-lighted using basic shapes to make easy layouts. Those basic shapes could be punched, die cut or just cut with a trimmer. My favourite is the technique that uses small squares to make a patchwork effect with coloured cardstock or patterned paper. I featured using circles and rectangles and the card above created for Liv’s birthday with the triangles.
