Global Design Project

February 15, 2017
Challenges/Blog Hops

15 Feb

A great way of getting creative when the mojo has taken a hike is by entering a challenge or using a sketch.  The Global Design Project this week has a sketch. Here it is #GDP074

I decided that a challenge was way overdue and love GDP and all it stands for so here is what I created;

I turned the sketch upside down somewhat, but I love how sketches are just a jumping off point, so this is allowed 🙂

I’m really pleased to finally enter a challenge at GDP as I am always popping over there to get inspired and I love who they have on their Design team, some of my Stampin’ Up! favourites hang out there!

I have  used the Jar of Love Stamp set, this was one of my very first purchases when the 2016/17 Catalogue arrived and I must ink it up more often as it is so lovely. I’ve also used Crumb Cake for my card base another of my favourites. The Sentiment stamp is from the lovely set new in the Spring/Summer called Builder Birdcage.  This set is great for pretty Birdcages and Chandeliers I have some cards made with this set that I need to Blog asap.

Thanks for looking.

    Love your take on the sketch in having the banner at the bottom of the card – looks great! The Jar of flowers is so pretty 🙂

      Hi Emma and Thank you for your lovely comment. I loved your card from the sketch, lovely sunny colours and I’m thinking I might need the Special Reason set love it on your card.

    I can’t get over how much I like what you did! Love how you turned the sketch upside down! Such a pretty mix of colors. Love the partial Lots of Labels, die, too.
