The Stamp Set Challenge

My first stamp set alphabetically is the ‘Baby Bear’ photo-real style and at first glance is more styled for the baby cards.  This stamp set is perfect for hi-lighting the Stamparatus. this amazing tool makes achieving this 3 layer stamp effect so easy and would be great for creating invites or thank you’s for a baby shower or baby gifts. the first card is quite traditional, but would easily make a great card for a 1 or 2 year old with not many adjustments.

Calypso Coral and Flirty Flamingo with Crumb Cake layer.

This second card I’ve made for a friend’s daughter who will be married in early August it’s very cute and should appeal to this young couple.  I’m pretty sure they won’t see this before the big day (they are too busy right now) so I’m safe sharing it here.

What a lovely married couple these bears make! And the Stamparatus came to my rescue yet again with the ‘To Hug and to Hold’ sentiment that I repeated with the step stamping technique.  So easy to achieve this text background look. The Designer Series Paper on this card uses the new colour to the Subtles colour family – Balmy Blue.

This stamp set has been around for a while and there are countless colour combos for these cuties but using the stamp off technique you can create a lovely textured bear using just one stamp pad, so great for those without a large craft stash.

The Stamparatus may be an investment, but it is a wise investment.  If you are making a number of cards with a two or three step stamp set then it’s invaluable.  Set it up and away you stamp.

Next on my challenge list is ‘Beautiful Bouquet’ with matching framelits for the Bigshot, it’s one of my very favourites.
