Holiday Mini Catalogue 2021
Each catalogue launch the fabulous Kerry Timms my amazing Team Leader coordinates a swap for us to participate in if we want to. I love an opportunity to take part in anything creative so I’m usually the first to sign up…
The only criteria we have is to use pre-order products to make a small gift type project with a card to send to the person in the team that you are paired with. Kerry draws the names and creates the pairs for swapping and away we go.
Personally I find it’s always easier to create for the mini catalogue launches because in general all the new items are available for pre-order, whereas for a new annual catalogue launch there is a list of pre-order products that is often considerably smaller. With Sale-a-Bration products available for the first time during the Summer this year too it was so amazing to have so much to choose from to create my projects.
I got to swap with the very lovely and talented Ellie Cliff. A little about Ellie, she has been a member of the Inspirationals for probably as long as me (almost 10 years), she is a Vet in her day job, has 3 beautiful children and lives in a fabulous cottage just ouside the beautiful town of Thornbury in South Gloucestershire.
Today I am featuring the swap she created for me and the products that she used to make such a pretty project that totally took my breath away. One of the best things about swapping is that, we really can’t have everything and not everything in the catalogue lights us up, so when we receive something so beautiful created with items not in our craft room currently we can potentially see how they look in real life and make an informed decision whether we really ‘need’ them far more than we perhaps thought we did!
Ellie used the new In-Colours Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen to create the Pine needle shadow effect. The stunning Pinecone Paper on Ellie’s box that holds the beautiful stamped candle has these colours too and is from the same suite of products and is called the Painted Christmas Papers. They are 12 x 12 inch papers. That sparkle you can see is the beautiful Be Dazzling paper that is one of the great products available to earn for free with a £45 order until the end of September.
